We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build the reliable, secure, and scalable systems behind our products. You’ll design and develop the API backend that powers PMcardio - our product used by thousands of doctors every day, ensuring it meets the high standards required for medical-grade software.You’ll work closely with Product, Frontend, and AI to ship new features, improve system reliability, and shape backend architecture that scales with our growth. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership: making architectural decisions, solving hard backend challenges, and building production systems where reliability, security, and correctness truly matter. Your Role
- Design and build reliable, secure, and scalable backend services and APIs
- Own architectural decisions for core backend systems and help shape how our platform evolves
- Design data models and database schemas that remain robust as the product and team scale
- Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, and AI teams to deliver new features end to end
- Build systems that handle scale, concurrency, asynchronous workloads, and high availability in production
- Drive improvements in reliability, performance, and maintainability across the backend stack
- Write automated tests and help raise the bar for backend best practices and engineering standards
